People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily. — Zig Ziglar
The thing with motivation is that it is not just a “one time” thing. It’s like exercising or when you first learned how to write. You just can’t do it once and that’s it. Everything has a beginning point. But it can’t end there.
Sometimes you can’t depend on people to motivate you either. Like bathing, it’s one of those things you just have to do yourself. You have to look within to do whatever it is that you want to do (learning how to cook, starting school, starting your own business, etc.). If you can’t motivate yourself, how do you realistically expect anyone else to do it for you?
So, believe in yourself…DAILY. No. Matter. What! The more you do it, the more effective it will be, and you will begin your new habit of self-motivation.
Let’s start today with an “I” statement. I CAN do “it” (whatever that “it” may mean for you). Repeat daily as needed.
