I’ve had my share of discovery sessions in 2016.

In case you have no idea what a discovery session is (some may call it a strategy session): it’s a question and answer session between a potential client and a coach/consultant to see if you two are a right fit to work with either other.

Now that you have an idea what that is, the conclusion of most of my discovery sessions were one of two things:

  1. “I need to create content” (to increase brand visibility); or
  2. “I need strategies for client attraction.”

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting either.

Actually, if you’re looking at your business as more than a hobby, you should be considering both as well as actively working towards it.

However, during my sessions, I discovered that were several things missing on the (potential) client’s end in order to do either. I listed these top 5 issues.
